信系統中


飛利浦半導體台灣區最大通路商-品佳，近日積極推廣銷售飛利浦I2C通用輸入/輸

出擴展器PCA953x及PCA955x。該產品具備2/4/8/16位元LED調光和閃光功能，適

用行動電話、運算、通信、網路應用系統伺服器等產品。為工程師提供不同於

GPIO、MCU系統更簡便、更多樣的選擇。

 

PCA953x LED 調光器的頻率範圍從160 Hz到每1.6秒1次，工作週期從完全關閉到

99.4%開啟，可提供調光及閃光LED功能。PCA955x LED 閃光器的頻率範圍從
40Hz到每6.4秒1次，工作週期從0.6%關閉到完全開啟。
 

為滿足行動電話及伺服器的系統製造商對多閃光LED的需求，在鍵盤照明、狀況指示等實用目的上，PCA953x LED 減光器

及PCA955x LED閃光器的低功耗及免除微控制器編程的特性，為系統提供更大的靈活性。

 
Philips I2C元件內含一個振盪器，帶有四個8位元 (256種值) 內部寄存器，用來設定兩個可編程閃光率。可避免微控制器利
用某一計時器向“閃光”LED發送重複指令，不斷重複的開關個別的LED。與GPIO系統LED相較，顯著降低I2C匯流排流
量，減輕I2C匯流排的壓力，亦可用於額外的流量和控制額外的元件。一旦編程，內部振盪器將I2C匯流排與PCA953x或
PCA955x斷開，LED仍可繼續調光或閃光，GPIO是無法做到這項功能。

8接腳PCA9550 2位元LED閃光器，16接腳PCA9551 8位元LED調光器，24接腳PCA9552 16位元LED閃光器/PCA9532 16位元
LED調光器，以及8接腳PCA9553 4位元LED閃光器均已問市。8接腳PCA9530 2位元LED調光器，16接腳PCA9531 8位元
LED調光器及8接腳PCA9533 4位元LED調光器現已導入市場。
 
PCA95xx LED Dimmers and Blinkers Features
Two User Programmable Blink Rates and Duty Cycles
Blink rate between 6.25 ms and 1.6s (160Hz to 0.625 Hz)in 256 adjustable steps for the PCA953x LED Dimmers.
Default power-up and reset value set at 160 Hz
Blink rate between 25 ms and 6.4s (40Hz to 0.156 Hz)in 256 adjustable steps for the PCA955x LED Blinkers.
Default power-up and reset value set at 0.156 Hz

Duty cycle between 0.4% and 100% for the PCA955x LED Blinkers.Default power-up and reset value is 50%
Duty cycle between 0% and 99.6% for the PCA953x LED Dimmers. Default power-up and reset value is 50%
Internal oscillator is accurate to +/- 10% and requires no external components
